On the afternoon of April 27, senior executives from Saudi Arabia’s Abdulllah Hashim Co. Ltd. (AHCL) visited China City Industry Group((Hereinafter referred to as CCIG) for discussions. The delegation was warmly received by Gu Yifeng, Chairman of China City Industry Group, along with Vice President and Overseas Director Simone Tassi and other leaders.

Founded in 1945, AHCL is a multinational corporation with a long history and outstanding achievements. For nearly a century, the company has focused on exploring automation solutions, dedicating itself to the research, development, production, and promotion of cutting-edge automation technologies tailored to market demands. It provides customized product solutions and has consistently ranked as a market leader in the Middle East for years in terms of production and sales volume.

This was not AHCL’s first visit. The company’s executives had previously visited CCIG and its subsidiaries in the Yangtze River Delta region multiple times in 2024 and mid-April 2025. They expressed strong recognition of the Group’s industrial layout, overseas strategic planning, and comprehensive capabilities in intelligent manufacturing. This visit further demonstrated their sincerity in seeking high-level discussions to explore collaborative opportunities and jointly advance industrial development.

During the symposium, against the backdrop of global energy transition and the rapid growth of the intelligent manufacturing market, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on potential cooperation in three key areas: hydrogen fuel technology, Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit (ART), and the “Cold Chain Cube” system. They aim to seize trillion-dollar industrial opportunities in international and domestic markets, including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and China, through collaborative synergies, technological complementary, and resource integration.

By the end of the day, the two parties had reached a preliminary strategic consensus on cooperation in smart automotive manufacturing, energy storage and transportation, logistics and cold chain, and intelligent transportation. They plan to jointly develop a global multi-business industrial chain partnership, including:

-Piloting a “Middle East model” for a zero-carbon smart transportation network combining ART and hydrogen energy;
-Co-developing mobile cold chain storage systems adapted to high-temperature environments in the Middle East;
-Integrating hydrogen-powered refrigerated trucks with solar-powered cooling technology to address Saudi Arabia’s “last-mile” challenges in fresh food e-commerce.
