From February 1st to February 4th, ART(Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit) will be available for free in Putrajaya, Malaysia for four days.

February 1st is the first day of operation and it is also the first day of Federal Territory Day and Putrajaya Open Day. Therefore, it attracts a large number of people to give it a try and take this tram in Putrajaya. Some people even waited in line for an hour before successfully boarding the tram.

The on-site ART has three carriages, and a driver is responsible for driving. It travels about 2 kilometers and takes about 15 minutes, allowing passengers to carefully appreciate the surrounding scenery along the way.

Larlan, chief operating officer of Mobilus Sdn Bhd, pointed out that during the four-day free trial period, the ART will travel about 2 kilometers per trip at a speed of 25 to 30 kilometers per hour. Generally speaking, it can accommodate 300 people, but during the trial period, it will accommodate up to 150 people. In the morning of that day, the ART had already made 4 trial runs, carrying 600 passengers in about 2 hours.

Mobilus Sdn Bhd CEO Chen Zijian said that trolleybuses once provided free services in Johor and are now switching to Putrajaya mainly to test the effectiveness. He added that the use of trolley buses is actually aimed at promoting the development of public transportation in Malaysia. The main energy source is charging (battery), so it will not cause air pollution or excessive energy consumption.

The construction of public facilities must be continued to see changes. Therefore, in this tram-free activity, we hope that people can actively participate and experience the convenience by ART.
